![]() Thanked him profusely, mentioned the other rep was referring me to a third party, and went on my way. He asked about what happened, I explained the situation - and even though both my mouse and keyboard are definitely beyond the 1 year warranty he said "No problem! We'll mail you out some replacements asap." I couldn't believe it. This time, "James T." assisted me, and was way more helpful right off the bat. I decided to call back and be a little more firm this time, and was fully expecting to have to escalate to a manager. The costs would have exceeded $60 easily and this was not okay with me. The G915 I would need to order off Alibaba and pay lord knows what for shipping. You mean a manufacturer has no way of getting me a replacement wireless receiver for a mouse and keyboard I paid over $300 for? I looked online and could only find the G502 receiver on Amazon for about $30. Not gonna lie, I was somewhat blown away by this response. "Okay?" I responded, "what are my other options?" He basically responded and said I would need to order new receivers from a third party such as Amazon, etc. He said he would send over the link to order spare parts but followed it up with a "but it looks like we don't offer spare parts for those models". The first rep I spoke with "Lark L." was extremely unhelpful. He felt really bad and we both agreed a padded envelope should have been used, neither here nor there.Īnyways - once my anger had subsided I gave Logitech Support a call and asked if they could send me new receivers. Yep - both receivers had managed to weasel their way out of it.įurious, but also devastated I let my friend know they got lost during their journey. Well - the envelope he mailed the receivers in arrived a few days later, with two holes in the front of the envelope. No big deal here, just had to wait a few days and I have a spare keyboard and mouse anyways. The next morning I realized my mistake, called him and he said he would send both receivers back to me in the mail. He then drove about 2 hours back to where he lives. In a moment of brief stupidity I left both of the receivers in the PC I built for him, packed it up and handed it over to my friend. ![]() Recently, I built a gaming PC for a friend of mine and used both my own mouse (G502) and keyboard (G915) to get everything up and running. I thought I would share a recent experience I had with Logitech support as I saw a lot of conflicting information on both this sub and the internet in general.
